Refer the Historical Data Work When a Client Retires an Application, and Keep the Client Relationship
When a client retires an ERP or another business application, the new implementation can be complete while years of financial records, attachments and audit history still need a secure home. Blueacrobat works alongside ERP, finance and advisory firms to extract that history, verify it against the source and keep it usable on DBVault after the source system is switched off. This page explains who the programme is for, how a referral works and what a partner gets. Applications are open.
Who the programme is for
The firms that meet the historical-data problem before we do. A referral partner introduces a client whose application history needs a home; Blueacrobat qualifies, scopes and delivers the archival work directly with that client, and the partner keeps the relationship it built.
ERP implementation and migration consultancies
Your client is moving to a new system. The new system should not absorb the old application's history, and someone has to keep that history answerable for auditors and finance.
ERP and business-application advisory firms
Your client's subscription ends on a date, a legacy application is being switched off, or a subsidiary is being sold, and the records have to remain producible for years after access ends.
Finance transformation, fractional CFO and audit practices
Your client needs the trial balance, ledger and statements for periods the new system never held, from an archive that reconciles to the source.
Restructuring, insolvency and transaction advisers
The company is being wound down, acquired or separated, and the application records must follow the entity, or the trustee, rather than the licence.
How a referral works
A referral is an introduction with the client's permission. From that point Blueacrobat owns the qualification, the scope, the proposal and the delivery, and the partner is kept informed of the outcome.
1 · Introduce the client
You tell us who the client is, what is happening to their application and when access ends. The client agrees to the introduction first.
2 · We qualify and scope directly with the client
A call with the client's finance and systems people: which record types, subsidiaries and files have to come out, what has to stay reportable, and the order of work before the cut-off.
3 · Extraction, verification, hosting
Blueacrobat extracts the account, verifies it against the source by record counts, financial reconciliation and referential checks, and delivers the archive on DBVault or as a database snapshot with the File Cabinet.
4 · You stay informed
You hear when the engagement is qualified, when it is agreed and when it is delivered, so your own project plan is never surprised by the history.
What Blueacrobat handles
Account mapping, standard and custom record types
Extraction and verification against the source
GL detail and financial reconciliation
The File Cabinet with its links to records
Read-only hosting on DBVault, with scoped access for auditors
The contract, the security questionnaire and the delivery
Where the hand-off sits
The partner implements or advises on the target system. Blueacrobat extracts, verifies and hosts the history, and contracts directly with the client for that work. Partners never handle the client's application credentials or receive delivery data unless the client authorises it in writing.
What a partner gets
A working relationship with a named contact, material you can put in front of clients, and a referral arrangement whose terms we share when you apply.
A named contact and fast answers
One person at Blueacrobat who knows your firm, answers scoping questions before you are in front of the client, and joins the first call when that helps.
Material for your clients
The situation pages on this site, the case studies, the Trust Centre's security evidence, and, for partners who want one, a co-written guide or a walkthrough with sample records that your firm hosts.
A referral arrangement
Referrals are recognised. The terms, including the option for firms whose professional rules do not allow referral fees, are set out when you apply, not on this page.
What the programme does not do
It does not make a partner a reseller, an affiliate or a white-label provider; Blueacrobat contracts with the client for its own work.
It does not imply a partner status, certification or alliance with any application vendor, for Blueacrobat or for the partner.
It does not pay for an application, a click or an unqualified name; a referral is a live client situation with the client's consent.
It does not list a partner's name or logo on this site without written permission for that exact use.
What your clients may need
Extraction, archival and backup services for ERP and business applications, and one platform that hosts the result. Each page describes what the service delivers, what it does not do, and the situations it was built for, so you can send a client the right one.
AcroXtract extracts a business application's data in full and verifies it against the source; AcroXtract for SAP does the same for an SAP system being switched off. AcroFile archives the application's document store with its folders and its links to records. AcroBackup keeps a daily off-site copy of a live account. DBVault hosts the archive read-only, searchable, with financial statements built in and scoped access for auditors. The situations pages describe application decommissioning, legacy data access, audit retention, divestiture and insolvency in the client's own terms.

Questions partners ask
Who contracts with the client?
Blueacrobat does, for its own work. The partner's agreement with the client covers the partner's work. Neither party represents the other.
Does the partner need to know the source application's data model?
No. Account mapping, the record types, the sublists and the custom records are Blueacrobat's job. The partner needs to know the client's situation and its dates.
Which applications does the programme cover?
The services on this site today, with the platform widening over time. Tell us the client's application when you refer; if it is one we do not yet archive, we say so at once rather than after the introduction.
Is there a referral fee?
There is a referral arrangement, and its terms are shared when a firm applies. Firms whose professional or independence rules prohibit referral fees can take part without one.
Can we stay involved after the introduction?
Yes, where the client wants it. Partners are often on the scoping call and always hear the outcome. The extraction itself, the verification and the hosting are done by Blueacrobat.
Will our firm be listed on this site?
Only with your written permission for the exact wording and logo, and only once the relationship is active. Nothing is published from an application.
Is Blueacrobat a partner of the application vendors?
This programme is a relationship between Blueacrobat and independent firms. It does not claim or imply a partner status, certification or alliance with any application vendor, for either party.
