Away: NetSuite records and File Cabinet extracted and hosted on DBVault

Away, the American travel and lifestyle brand, needed its NetSuite data extracted. It chose Blueacrobat on price and because the extracted data would come with an application to use it in, rather than as a set of files to manage.

Their product, DBVault, was built and readily available to use after data extraction.

The situation

Away's objective was a complete NetSuite data extraction. Two things decided the choice of provider: the pricing fit the budget, and the data would land in a built-in application rather than in a folder of exports that someone would then have to find a home for.

What Blueacrobat did

Three services, in sequence: AcroXtract for the full extraction of the NetSuite database records, AcroFile for the File Cabinet, and DBVault to host the result. The extraction ran to a weekly cadence, with an update on deliverables each week and the output delivered on time for Away's team to validate.

The outcome

The extraction was completed to expectation and the hosted platform was ready to use as soon as it finished. The reviewer's summary of the engagement was that it went well from the initial demo to the deliverable. Cost was rated four and a half out of five; quality, schedule and willingness to refer, five.

In their words

  • “He is very professional. He responds always in a timely manner. He updated us on project deliverables per week.”
  • “Easy in communication. Ready to accommodate. Available to meet where needed.”
  • “I think they did well from initial demo to deliverable.”

An archive that arrives inside an application, searchable and permissioned, is the difference between having the data and being able to use it. Away's engagement combined AcroXtract, AcroFile and the DBVault platform.
