Not many providers can do what Blueacrobat Corporation does with their affordability and effectiveness.
The situation
A small manufacturer had concluded that NetSuite was not the right platform for a company of its size and cost, and had chosen a new cloud-based system. The question was what happened to the years of data already in NetSuite: it had to be backed up before anything was switched off, carried into the new platform where it belonged, and kept accessible where it did not.
What Blueacrobat did
Blueacrobat took the data out of NetSuite, backed it up, migrated it to the new platform and restored it there. Alongside the work it provided consulting: explaining what was being done at each step and how to prepare the data for the migration. BIAR worked with a single project manager, by phone and email.
The outcome
At the time of the review, Blueacrobat had delivered two data sets of ten to fifteen gigabytes each and the engagement was continuing. The reviewer's suggestions for improvement were that the company should advertise more, and that its data browser could be complicated for people without an IT background, which Blueacrobat was already working on. That browser is now the DBVault platform, with universal search across the archive.
