Meeting record-keeping obligations while winding down: a NetSuite archive for an education provider

The situation

When a company concludes its operations, its financial records do not stop being needed. This provider had to retrieve everything from NetSuite to meet its record-keeping obligations, and any lapse would have carried regulatory and operational consequences. The team it had first worked with could not support the extraction it needed, and the associated costs were, in the CIO's words, exorbitant. It went looking for a third party able to extract the data for long-term storage.

What Blueacrobat did

Blueacrobat provided an alternative route to the same result: all the necessary financial data retrieved, and archived in a secure and accessible form for future retrieval and audit readiness. The work was done with one assigned person, closely with the provider's in-house team, over virtual meetings and email.

The outcome

The CIO lists four results: substantial cost savings against the option first quoted, a successful extraction of all the necessary financial data, long-term archival with future retrievability, and positive feedback from the finance and IT departments.
