GutCheck: NetSuite history extracted for record retention, through a vendor security audit

The situation

Record-retention rules do not care which system the records were created in. GutCheck needed all of its NetSuite data, from the first day of the account, extracted and delivered in forms it could keep: raw CSV files, a MySQL database, and everything in the File Cabinet. Because the vendor would be handling financial data, it also had to get through a vendor onboarding and information-security audit that the reviewer describes as fairly laborious, and that would have been a deal-breaker had Blueacrobat not been willing to go through it.

What Blueacrobat did

Blueacrobat completed the audit, then extracted the full history and delivered it as CSV and as a MySQL database, together with all File Cabinet contents. Communication ran over email and messaging.

The outcome

The deliverables arrived ahead of GutCheck's firm deadlines. What stood out for the head of IT was preparedness: the team knew what was needed before being asked. Asked what could have been done differently: not a thing.
